Hey there! I’m Jacqueline. I’m one of those people who used to get in trouble for reading too much (imagine a red-eye flight to Hawaii with little, eight year old me snuggled under a blanket reading Ramona books instead of sleeping). I’m now an English Literature and Creative Writing major. Go figure.

I also love food. I don’t claim to be good at cooking (trust me, my friends and family could tell you some stories about concoctions gone wrong…need I mention chocolate pasta or rolls that rise in your stomach or my most famous, mudgies?), but I do LOVE to be in the kitchen working with healthy ingredients to make myself food that I can enjoy with family or friends. Also, I love taking pictures of food, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and finding out the stories behind food. Hence, this blog: a place to share my cooking creations, lovely literature finds, and anything else I might find worth posting!

I’ll take a good book, a delicious plate of food, a sweet friend, a mini-adventure, a fun run or a cherished day with family any time I get the chance. And a good dose of dessert. I’m pretty sure that’s crucial. So, if any of this interests you, stick around a while and share my love of books, food, life, laughter and good company with me.
